Motorcycle Track Day Terms and Conditions

Participants on any motocycle track day will need to produce their full, original valid bike license before they can partake in an event. Photocopies of licences will not be accepted. Without producing the correct motorcycle license you will not be able to take part and you will not be eligible for a refund. All Bikes will undergo a static and/or drive-by noise test. The majority of the track days we display on our calendar have the ‘static’ noise limit displayed. No refunds can be given if your Bike fails the static or the drive-by noise limit on the day (note that the drive-by noise limit will nearly always be less than the static limit). On a public bike track day, riders will be required to bring their own helmets as well as wearing full zip-together leathers. On some events helmet hire may be available but please check the event information before making a booking.

Circuit Safety on Bike Trackdays

At the start of every event all riders must attend a safety briefing with the Circuit Marshals in order to obtain a wristband which allows them on track. This briefing covers all aspects of safety and circuit etiquet, with one of the most important things being understanding what the flags mean. Here is a quick guide:

  • YELLOW flag means that there's danger ahead of you so take extra care, don't overtake.
  • RED flag means there's been a serious incident and the sessions have been stopped, so slow down your bike, don't overtake and make your way back to the pits or as directed.
  • YELLOW and RED striped flag means there's debris on the circuit or poor grip so take care.
  • BLUE flag means that another motorcycle rider wants to overtake you.
  • BLACK flag means the marshals need to speak to you about your riding, you will need to slow and come into the pits right away.
